first off, what the hell am i doing up at 5 AM...

second, stop speeding.

Third, I've heard if you donate to the fund that cares for the families of deceased CHP officers, you'd get favorable treatment if stopped. possibly an urban legend, not concrete enough to risk a suspended license.

Oh yeah...

STOP SPEEDING!

heheh thanks.. yes.. ive been pretty good lately.. always set cruise control at 65-70.. but this was a nice curvy road.. and i thought i would be ok if i were just following the flow of traffic.. i wasnt weaving in and out or anything.. i was in the middle of a pack of 4-5 everyday cars!

i guess the flow of traffic doesnt work.. and having the s2k doesnt help.

Are you talking about the one that says "CHP 11-99 foundation member something...." ?
I heard it's 1500 to get and you get a badge with it too. This one guy I met told me it works but I'm curious if it really works..
Matt.

I know the CHP 11-99 foundation thing works. I have a friend who's father is a CHP officer/well i don't know his rank, but its high. What he told me is that all the guys who have been in the CHP for sometime honor it, but some of the rookies dont understand it, but are usually informed of it pretty early to let you off. Also if you are speeding doing like 100+ they won't let you go just because of how serious the offense is, but if its something little you will get off. Oh yeah and like the person above said, DON'T SPEED.(damn that was hypacritical coming from someone that got caught doing 130 in a 40 )
