hi there is anyone here keen with phones? i have an at&t tilt and i'm wondering if there is any possible way to block certain numbers from calling you? i'm getting harassing phone calls from stupid telemarketers on my cel phone and its really pissing me off. any help would be appreciated.

I don't think you can do that. I had that problem, and just turned into a complete ass to them when they called. File a complaint with the FCC, FTC, whoever else. Let these guys know that you filed, and that they are NOT supposed to call your cell phone. Threaten legal action. They'll stop.

 

I have researched into this as well. From what ive found, blocking numbers on a cell phone is not possible

and i would turn into a complete ass but they always call me with a recording! i was trying to get to talk to a person but when i selected that option today they quickly hung up!!! lol i guess they knew what was coming!

 

I occasionally get a collection company calling for some dude name Jose Gomez Romeo....or maybe its Jesus Gomez Romeo, either way thats not important. If I dont answer they keep calling and if I do answer I just get a recording. I tried speaking to a live person once but was on hold for 5 mins so I just gave up.

Also, follow his advise. Get your number on the do not call list.

 

True about the list. The thing is, they have 30 days before they MUST stop calling...and trust me they use all 30 days.
