Dutch Mandel is the guy on Autoweek. Frankly he drives me crazy. He is always......pausing........for......effect. The guy can hardly get a sentence out with pausing. Additionally he modulates the volume of his speech. To do this once in a while for effect is fine, but this guy can't seem to talk without these annoying attributes.

This bug anyone else?

 

I watch this show regularly. But I can't remember which one Dutch is. Is he the Dad or the Son? They both have the same on-air demeaner. And yes, it is irritating. I usually turn the show off right at about this point. I don't generally buy what they're selling. Good thing most of the time, these guys are at the end of the show.... But wait, there's more....Auto journalists tend to be more journalists and less car guys.

 

That's so hilarious, Because after I hear that guy talk I fly into a rage, He's such a dick. I thought I was the only one. I'm glad I'm not alone. He's a pompus jack A** who thinks he know everything. Geez now you got me started

Wow, I can't stand Dutch - there is just something about the guy that annoys the hell out of me. I don't know the guy, have never met the man in person, but I just want to punch the smartass right in the kisser whenever he is on the air. I usually never have such strong emotions about broadcasters, but this guy is just awful. Speedvision, please get the guy off the air!
