Anyone in recovery?
I may be breaking the 11th tradition, but i'm just wondering if anyone else is a member of a 12 step group
I'm asking nicely if you think AA/NA is for quitters, or have jokes about it please keep them to yourself. I owe my life to both programs

I was in NA about a year, then had to let it go due to schedule and own personal laziness.. However, I can tell you confidently that I have not touched any substances that made me get in my original ordeal anyways... I cant lie and say I dont smoke geebah. Thats basically another reason I stopped because I felt I was cheating the system.
Basically beanseff, I have seen you post in other postings, and let me tell you that we had the same issue man
it wasent easy, especially since it's considered legal since you have a doctor just handing them out

my two drugs of choice are alcohol and pain killers, not lortabs or vicodin either thats skittles to me, i'm talking about the real sh_t diluadid, roxies, fentanyl, even had an ordeal with heroin. I have been clean of opiates since april of 2010, I had a relapse with alcohol may 29Th but i'm back in the game stronger than i was before.
In all honesty it's been a very ruff road for me, most of the time im in pain because of my left ankle, but i've just learned how to deal with it, that and i have a cocktail of Excedrin, Aleve, and Benadryl. it doesn't kill the pain, it just makes it bearable
