Just curious to if anyone skim boards.

My girlfriend has been interested in getting a board for this summer, but she hasn't taken the plunge. I figured I would surprise her with a board, but I'm not sure what to get her. My budget is < 200$. I was looking online and the Victoria company seems to have some nice stuff, but I'm not sure if this is a good route since she is new to the scene.

Any suggestions?

well, it's like surfing, but because you want to show off (or can't handle real waves) you do so closer to the beach than real surfers and body boarders...

o0o00o0o0o i tried doing that recently in Boracay but i kept falling like i was learning how to skateboard

surfing > body boarding > skim boarding

 

I tried to Skimboard, couldnt get it right

so I started wakeboarding

and quite frankly never looked back

 

i pulled a groin skimboarding, and fell face first a few times, its tricky for sure...
