I never really liked Netscape other than on Macs... even on Macs I would probably use IE.

Don't ever use Netscape. Get Mozilla. Netscape is simply Mozilla with the ads and extras added in. I've been using Mozilla for at least a year and love it. It's completely standards compliant and without a bunch of added crap that I don't want.

Being a web developer, I hate Netscrap. Life would have been so much easier if Microsoft IE was the only browser out there...

As far as I'm concerned, it IS the only web browser out there -- so far out of visits from 600 computers to my site in the last week, NONE of them have been Netscape!!

I use Netscape 7.01 religiously! I love it... tabbed browsing is very convenient when you get used to it. Kinda reminds me of Tabworks from the old days though...

The biggest advantage the 1.0 release of Mozilla has over Netscape 7 is the built in popup blocker.

Steve,
I will hit your site just to represent the 1.0%! mwahahah

I've heard the pop up blocker is going to come back in the next version of Netscape. I'm glad alternatives to IE exist. IE is full of bugs, and has a lot of security problems just like windows. If web developers would just build their sites to W3C standards they wouldn't have problems with different browsers - the browsers would have to adhere to those standards to work with all web sites. Mozilla/Netscape is 100% W3C compliant which is why I use it. Fortunately, there are very few sites that I've had problems with.

Strongly disagree, the only reason why there are so many "bugs" in windows are because of Linux hackers who want to bring down a corporate giant.
So the bugs wouldn't exist or they just wouldn't be 'known'? Seems a bit far fetched to blame it all on Linux hackers.
