Anyone watch Joe Schmoe?
After watching Dr Pat's little talk to the camera after she decided to take the $25K, about how Matt has 7 people in that house that love him and want to be his friend for life, and how he has totally surprised everyone including the producers...I expect that they will alter the ending to be more of a light-hearted revealing instead of a "BAM! In your face, you got duped!" kind of revealing. That's how I currently feel, but this show is great at making me change my mind on what I think is going on and what is gonna happen. When I first started watching the show I thought Matt was such a tool, but now he seems to be the coolest guy.
But imagine this - what if we (the audience) are fooled into thinking that Matt is none the wiser when in fact he knows what everyone is up to and its Matt that is acting and putting on a show for the other members of the cast when they think they are fooling him? If that were true, it would be a shocker not only to the other members but to us the audience as well. In this scenario, the producers/writers and Matt know the whole picture haha. What an ending this would make!
Maybe I just don't get it but why do people get so emotional when someone is booted off the show? I mean if I were a contestant, I would go in with the mentality that I'm going in to have a good time and have some fun and if I get knocked off, I had fun anyway and lost nothing. If I win, then so much the better. LOL, the host's speech makes it sound like it's the end of the world "... going back to your miserable existence working for the man" - well so does 99.9% of the population, it's a fact of life. I just don't get why they get so upset - I know the others are putting on a show but still they are doing it because it's supposed to be sad and I don't get why. It's just a glorified game show like any other. You get eliminated fair and square and there should be no sadness involved. Anyone else feel this way?
