I need to know where I can get an AP2 OEM front bumper. Some asshat backed into me at a redlight and I'd rather replace it than have it painted. Can someone point me in the right direction to get one?

Honestly, I'd just have it stripped and repainted - the stock paint sucks. Get a 3M clear bra on too.

 

well, how bad is it?

 

Well it's not that bad..... here's what happened:

I was @ a redlight in the right hand turn lane behind a Toyota truck. The truck decides he doesn't want to turn right but wants to go left so he puts it in reverse I blow the horn, try to get in reverse before he backs up and bam, he hits me. We pull over and he apologizes we talk he tells me that he'll pay for it and asks me not to call the police or insurance telling me he has 3 wreckless driving tickets and he will lose his license. Told me he couldn't find his insurance card. He has kids and lives like 4 blocks from me. So I agree and we depart I haven't heard anything since he hit me on Friday but I do have all his information (SS#, DL#, Tag#, home address, full name, DOB). When I get 3-4 estimates we will have a sit down and I WILL GET MY MONEY one way or the other!
The first estimate came to $720. They told me that the front uni support got pushed back alittle (1/4" or so) and the bumper needs to be painted. You can't really tell it's been hit until I point it out but I know it happened.

 

Should be between 500-700 and screw him I'd call the police, could care less about his record.

 

Someone with that kind of driving record shouldn't be on the road...

 

just get a new bumper.....
