I know the importer of these units in Australia and had the opportunity to make a close inspection around 4 years back when they were powered by the MG/Rover 1.8 litre powerplant.

Although I never had the opportunity to drive one, as a motorcycle rider I can say that I would have no hesitation in purchasing such a vehicle - it's the next best thing to a bike! (even closer than an a S2k!).

Don't get hung up on how fast (or more importantly, how quick) it is, just appreciate how it feels to drive.

This is real life, you're no longer in a corporative and legislative cocoon - time to burst the bubble guys.

Stunning article, thanks for sharin' . I have to admit that the first time I heard of the Atom was from a Top Gear video, but I've loved it ever since. It's not as aesthetically pleasing as the last generation Elise (which we sadly never got, aside from a few Sun International Imports), nor as car-like, but for the pure track experience, it's the clear choice.
