I'm sure $340 is for the Pro. The Plat. isn't out for almost another 3 weeks, and it's going to be $499 most everywhere.
I'll never buy another "latest and greatest" video card again, it's just not worth the money to me. The 9800's are going to be priced really well in a few weeks, which works out great for me, being that I'm building a whole new machine.
