DSL... no problems ever until... they mistakenly turned off my phone, they admittend the mistake, turned on the voice line... and took a month to restore the dsl "feature". I have the enhanced dsl pkg with 6 static ip's... will be changing to SPRINT ION when it comes to my area.

Have you looked into www.freedsl.com ?
I can't get it in my area but you should be able to in Houston.
Just check the site and see if you can find if they offer it in Houston.

BTW, Just after I switched from cable to DSL, cable raised their rates by $5 a month more than DSL. I love DSL. Never goes down (unlike cable service), and I constantly get downloads around 742 KB/sec. Not too shabby.
