Attn: all you GMAIL people...
Yeah I tried that bean, I'm guessing it has something to do with my d-link firewall and I'm not experienced enough with it to check Im afraid. Im just now trying to figure out why my bittorrent is only d/l at ~1kB when im on 512
This does that without having to constantly enter the address and upload the attachment which is all through your net browser, as opposed to being able to drag and drop while in windows explorer etc. with this extension.

yea im not sure then how you might have configured your firewall.. if its the router one, I normally just disable it... because routers like Linksys have like a "packet protection" type thing that seems to scan packets as a firewall... but in turn it slows down my connection to hell... i always disable that right away, and install personal firewalls like zonealarm.com...
u could always try that
its free
I may have to, I forwarded the ports for PTC and ABC and they are both still d/l at around 7kB/s max but Im getting the expected ~50kB through limewire etc.
BTW I've got the D-Link G604T which is a wireless ADSL router with a built in firewall. Maybe once I get my wireless security up and running I should look into the software firewall.

Wireless speeds just suck in general (I'm VERY picky because i do alot of online gaming so i hate packet loss with a passion)... also those built-in firewalls never really seem to do anything but slow down your connection... i would definite use WEP to secure your wireless, disable the firewall and get a free download firewall.
You're connection should speed up thereafter... not as many lag spikes if you noticed them... tryin ping yourself to see if your spikin..
