Default Audi Roadster...

Was drinking a beer earlier with the "guys".. one of whom had owned a A4 before. He really liked his Audio, and was considering the Roadster. I don't think he wants a S2K because I have one (nobody likes to be a copycat I guess).

Just my $.02, but I think the Audi Roadster looks like a VW Bug that has been squashed... no idea about its performance.

Not the mention, its built on the VW Golf platform and it's FWD (or AWD at great expense).

Sports cars are *REAR WHEEL DRIVE*. No exceptions are allowed.

Doesn't look too bad, seriously ... It sure looks better than some roadsters especially some pathetic looking ones that don't even have the power band to come close to performance out there on the market, though I won't buy one since I'm a major Honda fanatic.

Lol. Then what do you call a Skyline GTR? I guess it can be considered a sports car cause its RWD until the rear slips or the Gforces get too high.
I really wouldn't call the GTR a sports car.

It's a monster.

I have test driven the both the 185HP 1.8L front wheel drive and the 225HP 1.8L Audi quattro TT roadster.
Wouldn't even consider the FWD one. Besides being slow, it had a sloppy clutch.
The quattro is a beautifully engineered car. I would have bought one save the $7000 higher price tag ($42,000) and that it seemed a bit over engineered for a roadster.
Like the Z3 - a "luxury roadster"

I was quite impressed the twin turbo engine in the A4 -F10 (V6) 250HP, AWD ($38,000) Faster than the BMW M3 but surprizingly did not seem to handle as well.

Honda should consider a turbocharged Accord to compete.

I'll stop here...

yesterday i saw a red audi tt roadster with OZ SuperLegarra Rimz, those are sweet, but kick more arse on the s2000, infact they detracted from the overall appearance of the TT
