The city of Austin, TX is now bottling it's tap water to sell. I just saw it on the news last night. lol, talk about getting ridiculous. Get this, you can only buy it in Austin too if I'm not mistaken!!!!!!!!! Dude, wtf are they thinking. Why would anyone in Austin PAY for tap water duh!!!!!

Considering that the latest study said that my area has the best tap water in the country, why would I buy yours??? LOL

 

lol, while I still think it's retarded, supposedly Austin's water is some of the best. Admitedly our water supply comes from natural springs so I guess it is "spring water". But the kicker for me was that they are tyring to sell Austin tap water to Austin residents!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Whoever came up with this idea deserves a good kick in the A$$

 

Actually, the person that came up with the idea may be a marketing genius. Considering how much you are charged for your water and how much they can get if they bottle it and you might see there's a profit to be made. There's a lot of bottlers out there that put a beautiful snow covered mountain on there label and give it a name like Glacier Springs and sell it to people for $1 a litre and you find out it's from some spring in Arkansas.
