Back from Munich and Oslo, S2000 count = ZERO
Ok, so it was cold as f**k and snowing A LOT so maybe they have an excuse!
I did see 2 Z3's, 1 Fiat Barchetta, and a Boxster though so a few diehards were out, top up of course.
Only had a Ford Mondeo Estate rental so not much Autobahn blasting. Really nice car, much better than any American Ford I have driven of late, but ran out of legs on the Autobahn. I pretty much had the pedal floored from Fussen to Munich on the Autobahn and it topped out at 125 mph. Sure is nice to drive in a country that has nice roads and people understand the concept of driving in the right lane when not passing. Never had to lift or brake for about 40 minutes except for tunnels and road construction. Sure would make the trip to Vegas better!

Did you post that you were coming in the European Forum that you were coming?)
(I've been posting in the UK, European, and Australian forums that i'm coming to their meets just to mess with their heads. I told the UKers and Europeans that I've converted my S2K into an amphibious vehicle and I told the Australians I thought there was a bridge.)

Were you out there for work, or for pleasure.
Gotta agree with the diriving courtesy. The people out here just don't understand the concept of the passing lane, and to stay out of it when driving slowly.

I kicked around Munich for a bit but I was in "Old School" Bavaria for most of the time, Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Skier and Snowboarder heaven. Did my best impersonation of Tommi Makinen (sp?) and did some snow "rallying" when I got lost near the Austrian Border. Dumped the Mondeo into a snow drift and broke the driver side mirror off. Luckily with today's plastic cars I dug around for a bit, found all the pieces and it snapped back together eventually! Woo Hoo!
