Default Backpains in the S2K?

Whenever I drive my car for a long period of time, my lower back begins to sore. It's the type of pain where it feels like I need to stand up and stretch. I first thought that this problem was only mine until I came across various discussions in other car forums. People, mostly who currently owns or had owned an S2000, complained of this dillemma. I don't know if this problem is caused by the suspension, small cabin space, etc.. Anyone have similar experiences?

nope. never had that problem. i'm 6'2" and i slightly slouch in the seat so that the top of my head is not above the windscreen, but still i have yet to encounter back probs. in fact, if find the s2k seats to be more supportive than nearly all other seats i've encountered. btw, how old are you?? i'm sure older folks are more prone to back problems in taut suspensioned cars like the s2k. if this is a serious problem for you, then maybe you can use it as an excuse to visit the chiropractor. nothing feels better than a realigned spine performed by a chiropractor.

Yeah, this has happened to me. I took a 6 hour drive to Hattiesburg once and my back was killing me by the time I got there. The seats have no lumbar support.

I've found that a small pillow behind my back on any 2 hour + trips really helps.

EDIT: How did this get double posted? I only clicked once?

I'm not old at all. I'm still enjoying the good years. Yeah, I usually also get this problem when I drive for more than 2 hours.

this has been happening to me lately...prior to having my seats stolen i had no problem with my seats (bought my car used)...but lately these new ones have really been giving me a lot of back pain lately...im only 5'9", 20 yrs. old so its not like im too big or too old for the car so im guessing i have to go through this till i break in the seats more.

The S2K seats are not for people over 180 pounds or 36+ pants.

I am selling my S2K just for this reason.
