What a great day... had the top down tonight as I cruised around up in Evanston. Perfect night for a drive. Finished up the Tamiya R/C S2000, painted Yellow, of course. So overall I'd call it a great day. Tomorrow? Wax the car and drive some more! Isn't Chicago great!

Holy crap, Jason. You're a wildman...! I haven't even considered that as a possibility lately...

What wax are you going to use? If this holds out, maybe we can get out for a drive soon...!

You guys are having a real heatwave up there. I just looked at the Tribune; the temperature is 20; I bet you guys are really sweating. Top down weather, indeed.

Greg-
Jason not only drove with the top down, but at nite as well... wasn't even sunny Today The TT & The s2k are getting Zainoed. I like it 'cuz it's easy! None of that carnuba based mess.

Looking forward to when your car isn't in a sno drift and we all can go for a ride!

Hey you two...where did you wax? I want to do the same soon, but I need to Dawn wash the car to strip the wax that is on there now and I'm going to try another one...(I can't really say which I am going to try next)

But where and how did you guys do it? Is your garage heated?

Yep... Juliann's garage is heated and that's where we did it. Both cars were really shining, too. The S2K kinda got a little dusty after 60 miles of top-down cruising. We're up to 120 miles on the new engine now... Breaking this thing in TWICE is painful.

But Greg... if the weather holds out, you're more than welcom to wax the car at Juliann's. There's a spray wash closeby and we just hosed the cars off there and drove them over to the garage for waxing. Let me know when you want to try it and I'll talk to Juliann.

Sweet! It looks like Chicago MAY actually be starting to thaw. Let's keep an eye on the weather and see what happens over the next week or so. Where does Juliann live?

Thanks!

And anytime you want to wax your s2k you let me know. Usually 50 degress in the garage year round Wax dries in about an hour.

The car looked fabulous when it left here this afternoon...
