I have been to Sri Lanka in response to the tsunami in December of 2004. Across from my hotel was the factory where they make alot of Banana Republic and Old Navy products. There are a couple thousand female employees that work there for a little bit over ten dollars a month each. These companies make so much profit it is unreal!

A friend of mine found a store in one of the countries where they make the clothes and they sell the factory seconds (she said you can't tell anything is wrong with them) for about 2 dollars a peace but you can bargain down to one dollar.
