I know. I'm not necessarily against it, just making a point.

I played rep baseball for 10 years and then stopped cold turkey.
I loved playing, batted 3rd or 4th forever, and have always always hated watching it.

To be completely honest, even when it was my own team and I was on the bench for whatever reason (usually because it was a meaningless game and we decided to play some of the junk players) I had little to-no-interest in what was actually happening on the field.

I enjoy major league games only because they serve beer. I hate them because the beer is marked up 1200%. Literally.

I rather watch baseball than tennis or golf.

I couldn't watch golf until I started playing it. After that, I could pick up tips on playing better. It's a lot more enjoyable now, though I still prefer hockey or football.

Daddy must not have played catch with you...sorry. Most people who think baseball is boring really just don't understand the game. If I go to a sports bar or talk with a dude who says he doesn't like baseball, the first thing that comes to my mind is "what a homo".
Your WAY off base man. I played baseball when I was younger and could never get into it. There's entirely too much standing around and not enough action. I did, however, play basketball and soccer and if you compare baseball to soccer you can surely see the difference in action and pace of the game. Baseball is tolerable to see in person but completely mind-numbing to watch on tv
