Battlestar Galactica
33 was sweet. The only thing that bothered me was that they recycled some battle footage from the miniseries for the opening sequence in 33. To much like the original series where every dogfight was one of three shown over and over.
I like it when scifi is written for more adult intellect and we don't have to watch two hours of Jar Jar Binks or in this case "Boxey and Muffet"
When does Baltar grow a pair and admit he has the chip in his head?

Did I miss an Episode? I know the last year show ended at Boomer being a Cylon. But how is it now she's (cylon) on the Galatica and the "Real" boomer is back on Caprica finding her lost comrade? Where did the Switch occur?
POSSIBLE SPOILER
in the mini-series i think it was revealed that there are 12 human/cylon models and each model has multiple copies. from the further episodes i have seen, it is safe to say that Caprica Boomer is a robot. so that explains the two Boomers on Galactica and Caprica.
with this show you don't know who is a cylon and who isn't. there a 6 models of human-cylons that are yet to be revealed.

The metal centurians.....
Boomer.....
The Victorias Secret chick in the red dress....
The "weapons dealer" at Ragnar Station....
The sniveling computer consultant that was abandoned at Ragnar Station.
And they have hinted that the curly haired young guy that is an aid to the president might be one but have not really made it clear yet.
The final episode of the first series airs in the UK next Monday. The viewing figures have been pretty good over here (considering that it's shown only on subscription cable channel, which rather limits the audience to begin with) and I for one hope it gets picked up for a second series.
But I'm realistic enough to know that that depends very heavily on figures in the US, notwithstanding the fact that Sky One (the UK channel, part of the Fox Media empire) paid a hefty chunk of the production costs. So, all of you who have been downloading it and watching it as we in the Uk have seen it, make sure you watch it when it goes out on US TV so that the figures look good!
It has been a breath of fresh air. Let's hope it doesn't go the same way as Firefly.

The season finale (but hopefully not the series finale - Sky One, the UK co-producers have apparently asked for 6 more episode scripts, but the final greenlight for production will depend on US viewing figures) went out on Monday - a hell of a cliffhanger!
