who loves the current asian guy, PI? he's my favorite, undoing any progress made to the image of asian males in the media. him and the hungster should team up and rock vh1, etc.

seriously, do u think the show does any good in terms of showing that geeks are worth much more than they look? or is it just crap entertainment?

believe me, there are girls that dumb in this world. i know for a fact because one of them is my sister. i love the girl to death but she's dumber than a box of rocks. in school she had to do a report on a third world country... and she chose Africa to do her report on. she almost had it all written out and i was like "umm... Africa is a continent dipshit."

a lot of girls don't place a lot of importance on their intelligence, especially really pretty girls. my sister has actually told me that she doesn't care about school because she wants to be a model or a trophy wife, and if all else fails she'll just go to beauty school.

but i do think some of the girls on the show are actually faking it. like last season, there was that asian girl, she looked like a halfsie actually... and she'd always win all the trivia challenges and it ended up that she was smarter than her geek. when i first saw her i was thinking: "there's no way she's that dumb, she's asian." lol... stereotype, but it's usually true.

I did actually date one of these geniuses in high school. Her parents bought her a car for her birthday and she took me for a drive. A few miles down the highway her shiny new car died. So we pull over and of course I'm under the hood trying to look like I know what the hell is going on under there. I hop in the driver seat to try the ignition and notice the gas gauge buried about a mile past the big red E and the yellow gas pump picture is lit up like a freakin' Christmas tree. I asked gently "How long ago did you get gas?" Her priceless reaction, "Gas!?!" This chick, 16 years old, actually never considered that cars needed to consume some sort of fuel to produce movement. Moreover, apparently in 16 years of life it never occurred to her to ask why people kept putting hoses in their cars periodically. She was so hot though!

I know a girl who goes to Harvard, pretty hot, good at tennis, good in calculus, near straight to the A student. STILL DUMB!!!!

people who are booksmart and have no sense of streetsmarts are so annoying. worse yet, a booksmart person with a poor sense of humor. they are total downers.

lol... she's 17. KEEP YOUR OLD MAN BALLS AWAY!!!
reminds me of the adam sandler movie big daddy.

Never seen the show, but have had my fair share of stupid girl experience. One of the best involved the discussion of my major (journalism). "Well what does a journalismist do?" then followed later in the evening by the mastermind "OH MY GOD YOU DON'T LIKE YELLOW? How can you not like yellow, its like the best color." I'm not sure who it was that bestowed their lack of faith in the color yellow, but I'm betting they immediately regretted it. Whole party went quiet, it was great.

haha... i have a good dumb girl story. i have this friend, she's pretty good looking, she's got a really tiny waist and HUGE boobs. they're real too... but this girl is an effing airhead and the worst thing about it is that she tries really hard to include herself in conversations with subject matter that she obviously has no knowledge of. she's one of those people that kind of sits off to the side and chimes in with an occasional "oh my gosh, i know!" "you're soooo right!" or "haha! that's soooo funny!" and it's really distracting to the people who are actually participating in the convo.

so me and my buddies are kinda drunk and we're sitting around having this long, lively conversation about our buddies M3 he just bought, the new 3-series, BMW M6's... how ferraris pretty pwn lambos, porsches, and various other exotics. the usual car talk... and she chimes in with: "you know what car i LOVE?" and she pauses so everyone stops and looks at her... "i LOVE the RSX. i've ALWAYS wanted one." we all just sat there and looked at her at a loss for words. LOL... finally, i had to break the awkward silence with "yea, those are cute." then we all look at each other, pick up our beers and go downstairs to play pool. haha... it completely ruined the conversation.

Not sure how you can base one's intelligence on that. As far as being an attention whore, I totally agree.

Perhaps she just wants to be included?

But I agree - better to look stupid and keep quiet than open your mouth and remove all doubt...

(sorry - would credit the source, if I could recall who it was - hmmm)
