A buddy of mine and I were lucky enough to catch the timing right for

at the Deschutes Brew Pub.
It was A M A Z I N G
Went back a few weeks later and it was already gone.
Sad story.

Another reco is Flying Fish Farmhouse Summer Ale. Only available on the ast coast though as far as I know (I wish I could get beer shipped cheaply to CA). That beer is synonymous with BBQ's and baseball games to me. Glorious.

lately been drinking Stone beers. levitation is my favorite, but arrogant bastard will do. also bells oberon, bells two hearted..
A friend of mine took me to Dark Lord Day in Munster, IN this past April. Three Floyds Brewery brews a number of beers, but one they brew is called Dark Lord Russian Imperial Stout and they sell it 1 day per year. Apparently it's ranked as the #2 beer in the world by various beer connoisseurs.
Of the various DLRIS flavors they had there, I enjoyed the Oak Aged the most. Vanilla Bean was a little too Vanilla for me and the 2009 flavor just didn't have the same kick of the Oak Aged.
I've only recently become interested in the various beers, but my daily favorite for the moment is Robert The Bruce (another Three Floyds beer).
Anyone else been to Dark Lord Day or had it in the past?

Stone is great beer. . . but phew, after 2-3 (22oz) bottles, I'm ready for a Miller Lite (or water, but water doesn't have alcohol in it).
