Some market research company calls me and offers me free beer and they'll pay me to drink it. Anybody done it before? I don't really drink, so the study didn't interest me. I would imagine that is an offer that many people dream about.

 

There used to be a market research firm that operated out of a mall near where I live. Every time you'd be walking through the mall they'd be out asking people to take a survey on something or other. I always declined UNTIL they did the beer tasting survey . That was cool. They gave me a bunch of little glasses of beer and all I had to do was tell them whether I liked each one .

 

Let me guess, Carlene Research right? There's one by my mall too. Did they pay you?

 

If they call again, make sure to give them my phone number. That goes for any of you out there who don't want to do the taste tests...you now, help a brother out, man!

 

I don't remember the name of the company. It was a number of years ago. I don't believe they paid me, except with free beer
