Default Best Beer? [Revised]

Since xpander4's recent poll on beer covered about 4 good beers and about 6 terrible ones (Natural Ice.. wtf were you thinking? ), I figured I'd post a poll for GOOD beers.

Seeing as how I turn 21 on Friday, I'll probably be sampling a wide range of the selections.. Any Austin residents want to suggest a good bar to visit?

You mean the originator of the poll didn't even vote? Hmmm. Oh, well, it means I get to be first!

oh, I did.. I was just a little slow about it..

I voted for Shiner Bock. It's definitely a popular choice in this area of the country.

I'm drinking a Guinness right Now

It really is good for you (in moderation)

My Choice,
Extra Stout in the original bottle

AND WHY did they come out with these new bottles with a widget full of nitrous oxide, only 11.2 ounces, and less after the foam rises.
Sorry for the rant, I've been drinking the original bottles as my daily beer for over 5 years.

Now on to Beer War #2 - A revised post - to meet the demand

haha, it's cool. I think the idea was fantastic, and I'm sooooo glad you took my revised poll in good humor. I was afraid I'd piss some people off, but this crowd is so tolerable, it's fantastic. Especially due to the fact that I'm not even an owner, I tend to be careful when I post to make sure that I don't get on my soapbox too much. I prefer not to offend people. Maybe I'll be a little more bold and post around here more often..

I'm sure I left off some popular choices anyway.. I, for one, like Fat Tire, but I figured many people wouldn't be aware of it..

btw, I hope, at age 21, I'm not a beer "snob." I'd hate to be labeled as a snob in any fashion.

What about a good Japanese beer damnit!!! Such as Kirin.......made by the ANHEISER BUSH CORP!

If you actually look at a lot of the beers out there a good portion are made by the Bush Corp.
Killians, Kilarnies, Tiqueza, Guinness(I believe), Kirin and a whole slew of others!!!!
