Default The Best Bond. . .

With the soon to be released Die Another Day, the question is: Who is your favorite Bond? Also, what's your favorite bond film & car? And if you want to add your favorite Bond girl, that would be a plus. . .

Dr. No the first one...in 1962

Sean is the First One!

That one done by Lansby (if thats his name) was in 1967, Casino Royale.

Sean did one in 1983 (Never Say Never Again) which was off of different copy rights......It was the same year as Octopussy.

The reason I only liked Sean Connery as Bond was because he drove an Austin Martin. I mean look at good old Roger Moore with his Lotus - he just never had the class.

Well with the new Bond films featuring Austin Martins again, who knows..

Who needs Bond when you have Powers

Sean was great, naturally.
Roger Moore was a corpse.
Pierce Brosnan is a bit too much of an arrogant baby. I don't care for him as Bond, but he's been good in other movies.

Timothy Dalton was the meanest, baddest-ass Bond of them all. My vote goes to him.

Sean has it hands down. He's the epitome of what the character demands. Hell, he looks good losing! That's hard to beat.

Favorite car would be the....Z8 No! The Ferrari F355 Berlinetta............No! The Z8............No WAIT! The F355....

Favorite film: The spy who loved me (?) Other close choices though.

Favorite girl. Ummm..... To hard. It hurts my head. Can narrow it down to four.
Mie Hama - You only live twice
Barbara Bach - Spy who loved me
Carole Bouquet - For your eyes only
Tanya Roberts - View to a kill

George Lazenby played James Bond in "On Her Majesty's Secret Service." He did a good job but was so full of himself that he wasn't asked to do another.

David Niven played a retired James Bond in "Casino Royale".

I've heard that there was a TV show that preceded Dr. No and featured a "Jimmy" Bond, but I cannot recall the details.

Timothy Dalton is closest to Fleming's description of James Bond than any of the others; Roger Moore is arguably the furthest.

My votes:

Timothy Dalton

License to Kill (OK, it should be "Licence")

Lotus Esprit

Cary Lowell, or Michelle Yeoh
