And I thought I didn't like coffee before!

Interesting! But I won't knock it before trying.

Besides ordering those aforementioned above online, can I buy some of them in stores?

I've tried Cafe Du Monde before.

Starbucks making people believe overroasted coffee is the way it's supposed to be.

I like Choc Full O' Nuts for store accessible beans. Otherwise Kona Blue Peaberry is the stuff.

Had Vietnamese Coffee the other night at a restaurant in Atlanta called Nam, It was very good. It was brewed at your table with a little condensed milk (the sweet stuff used for pies) in the cup before brewing.
A resonably priced coffe that is very good is Trader Joe's store brand.

I have thought about getting one of the Vietnamese coffee set ups, sounds interesting.

Every coffee aficionado should have one of these. It's simple, quick, convenient, and brews one fresh cup of coffee. I've had one for many years.

To use: unscrew the middle plate, put a couple teaspoons of coffee in, then screw back the plate firmly but not too tight. Then pour boiling water over it, then put the lid on. The dripping rate depends on how tightly or loosely you screw the plate on. It's a nice little tool for brewing a fresh single cup of coffee.

P.S. I just bought some coffee at Trader's Joe. It's not bad but not the best either. Will try one of the aforementioned above.

There is a local importer/roaster here in Milwaukee "ALTERRA". I've tried many types of coffee from Paris to NY to Seattle, but their house "Alterra blend" is my favorite.

Their coffeehouses are east-side Milw landmarks. They have an online store too at www.alterracoffee.com.

The place with a bit of fame for also serving Beignets.

I drink it every day. Strong if your not use to it. Has Chicory in it.

+1 Love those Beignets.
