Annie and I also have:

Y2K S2K - in Washington (only 7 letters/numbers allowed here)

Of course now that we have a 2001, Annie's talking about finding "+1"s to put on the car. I thought we should change it to:

YLWMRCS

but most people wouldn't understand it unless they knew us. Since our cars are our kids, we name the cars. The first S2000 was Black/Black. (BTW, no offense intended on the following comment....) I figured that it was a strong black car and thusly needed a strong black name. So, I named him Marcus. Since we have a hard time changing names when we get a different car that is the same (we had two Type R's, both named Bart) the old one became Black Marcus, and the new one is now Yellow Marcus.

still trying to decide for my upcoming S2K:

"INFT IPO" (i work for a consulting company called Inforte. we went public last Feb., and my options are a large part of the downpayment.)

or

"AFK BRB" (away from keyboard, be right back for the less geekily inclined out there.)

votes for either?

My VA plate says DLIODOR. Almost no one gets it of course. But with the few that do, there is an instant connection, because we each know that the other is a speaker of Irish (and they know I'm a lawyer, which is what Dliodoir means as Gaeilge).
