anyone know the socal best beaches to find mole crabs?

mole crabs, sea cicadas, sand crabs



i love these little critters, i just want to find some more again.
i know they are generally at most beaches, but i was wondering if anyone knew a plentiful spot!

WOW! i rember catching those when i used to live in the bay area. we used to just dig straight into the sand and when you feel something "different", grab it and pull that sucker out!

They are awesome crabs to catch for kids. I used to find them all the time at the beaches in the bay area.

I remember those crabs when I went to the beach. Scared the crap out of me when you walk on them. I found them in Oceanside, CA. About 20 min North of San Diego.
