You'd think that they'd at least wait till the decade ends.

Decades start at year XXX1 and end at year XXX0; e.g., 2001 - 2010.

While you may be technically correct, the vast majority of people associate the years that end with 0 as the first of the decade. I doubt too many people would agree that 1980 was part of the '70's.

wow, so we (lakers) win 4 titles, are the most profitable team in sports yet we were placed below Dallas and San Antonio. If were going by wins per season which mean squat since it's all about winning the title, then i could see why dallas would be ahead, but shouldn't it be about titles won for the decade?? That would be 4 which is 1 more than San Antonio; 1999-2000, 2000-2001, 2001-2002 & 2008-2009. Lame, lame i tell ya

this team won 8 Tours (7 with Armstrong and 1 with Contador), totally dominated the European cycling scene, and revolutionized how cycling is approached.
Comparable to the Celtics of the 60's.
