I miss the old days of Dr. Demento with the old 4-hour show on KMET 94.7 here in Los Angeles. The newer shorter show never really appealed to me and the older version played much more obscure stuff. Things really started to look bad when Wierd Al's "Another one rides the bus" got the #1 spot for well over a year.
