Checking out xbox.com to see which games look the best I think 'AirForce Delta Storm' is looking like the main contender (for me at least). It looks the most realistic and advanced graphically. Some of the other games look a bit .. cartoonish for want of a better word.

I'm thinking of buying an X-box. Any opinions on the best game?

 

Great system, a lil bit of a wait for the better games. They are talking of signing over "take two". This would mean amazing games like GTA3 and some other ones that I forgot coming for X-Box. Halo is real good. And Gotham Racing had me hooked for 5 days. I had to actually stop playing because of the pain in my index finger of holding the accelarate button. I was sooo close to the end when a bad save screwed me over. I gave up and just went for the F-50 with the cheat. Good system.

Dead or Alive 3 is a great fighting game, and beautiful.

 

Delta Storm is by far the WORST flight sim I have ever played.... sure, it *looks* nice, but the planes cannot and do not roll. They just pitch and turn, and are limited to about 30 degrees roll either side, like AfterBurner back in the 80's. Very hard to handle, no realistic flight sim modelling.... bloody awful in my opinion.

If you want great games for the X-BOX, get Halo, Project Gotham Racing and DOA 3. Those three are the only good games on the system as it stands.

If you're looking for a good flight sim on a console, consider Ace Combat 4 on the PS2.

 

Best X-Box games? probably Max Payne and Gotham Racing

 

WWF RAW is coming in a few weeks that should make it a best seller.

I heard a "rumor" that Microsoft will soon mark the X-box down to $100 so they can flood the market. Anyone else heard the same thing? Thought I would encourage some research.

 

$100 down would be quite insane. I hear MS is going to be in the red for a few years w/ the xbox as it is and they are subsidizing the $299 usd price tag now.

 

Doubt they would go that low. But that would be very smart if they did. The rush of xbox game system buying is dead already. Except for like 10 getting sold a day in the country. Everyone that wanted it, got it by now. So they'll probally drop it to something low like that. More systems go out, more games go out.
