I stopped drinking in 9th grade. Yea, yea, I know. WTF was I drinking in 8th-9th grade for?? Well, I'm 29 now and haven't missed it one bit. Life is too short to not remember half of it! To quote a great movie, "Fat, drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life, son." If you're serious, more power to you. It does feel kind of awkard in social situations though, I only know one other person that doesn't drink. Oh well, I'm used to being the odd man out.

And yes, I know in moderation it's ok and not harmful, I'm not accusing social drinkers of being alcoholics. But if I've gotten this far and don't miss it, why should I bother with it at all? Some people don't understand but it's not my responsibility to try and make them understand. It's a personal choice, either way.
