Default A big THANKS to TicketAssassin.com!! Won a case :)

A few months ago, in fact it was on 9/11/02 (a very bad day to begin with), I had the misfortune of getting suckered into making an illegal (yet incredibly safe) left turn out of a parking lot -- I followed another car out who did the same exact thing. We both got pulled over 1 minute later.

After having a bit of a nervous breakdown for the rest of the day and then learning the valuable lesson of not sweating the small things in life, I went to ticketassassin.com to see how to fight stuff like this. Turns out, there's a pretty good argument to fight that particular violation. I followed the instructions, followed the process, and won. Entire bail amount refunded.

I can't be happier.

Ok, details it is. Here's the Statement of Facts I used in my Written Not Guilty Plea. You can see the Exhibit photographs that are mentioned below the statement.

STATEMENT OF FACTS:
I respectfully submit this written declaration to the Court pursuant to CVC 40902. I plead Not Guilty to the charge of violating CVC 21461(a).

Note that within this statement of facts, I refer to four (4) photographs included as evidence in this case. I refer to them as

I just received my letter from Harbor Court today and I won my case also. Thanks to Ticket Assasin. Mine was for 10-15mph over, but I sent in an argument using the basic speed law.

I'm not exactly sure if my argument won the case, or if the cop simply didn't send in his argument. Either way, I won and it was much better than having to sit in court for half the day.

Thanks to vapors2k (Ardy) for sharing his experiences also.

I am 3 for 4 using ticketassassin. It has saved me hundreds of dollars. Glad to hear the good news, Steve. Congrats!!

Also, if your returned bail came with a letter that said "not guilty," it was your solid case that got you off the hook. If it simply said "dismissed," the officer didn't submit his testimony. I have had both happen.
