Billionaire's son 'kills cyclist with $1.1m car
SO lemme get this straight..
Some guy in Rio decides to cross a highway on a bicycle AT NIGHT and gets hit by a car that just happens to be be owned by a billionaire. Ok so what part of this is the fault of the driver? I'm pretty sure the guy wasn't trying to cross at a pedestrian crossing and I'm almost damn sure the cyclist didn't have on any sort of reflective clothing.
It sucks that he died, but the cyclist was taking a HUGE RISK and suffered for it. Who the hell crosses a HIGHWAY at NIGHT?
Also that news article is skewed as f@#k using terms like "is known as a flamboyant billionaire" and " The crashed Mercedes is capable of speeds in excess of 300km/h" I don't see how the writer felt this was necessary in the article.

To make it a better story he has to mention what the car was capable of, but there is no mention of how fast this kid was actually going. Was he going the speed limit? Was he speeding? It's a lot of damage to the car, but if the speed limit down there is 70-80, it isnt surprising.
Was the cyclist wearing bright colors so the driver could see or (like most people I see crossing in the middle of the road) wearing all dark colors and nearly impossible to see.
Sad for the cyclist and his family, but I'm on the drivers side until more of the story comes out.
