Ya, how the hell did they last 21 days without a crow eating them?

as soon as a bird makes a nest in my front tree and lays some eggs, the crows come in and eat.....

maybe there are no crows in their neck of the woods. or maybe those baby birds didn't actually fly way, but were devoured by predators, but the camera guy wasn't there to witness it...
