Default Black Friday Shoppers!

Since I'm Canadian, I've always wondered about Black Friday.

All I know is, it's the day after American Thanksgiving AND that it's the American version of Boxing Day.

What are the sales like?

What do you usually buy on that day?

Does the sales last the entire week or just that one day?

I'm hoping to attend next year's festivities!

Its mostly electronics that are for sale. most people camp outside stores such as best buy beginning at 2:00AM if you want a good spot.

Check out blackfriday.info or bfads.net

Electronics are the big pull. A lot of the best sales are that day only, like 5am to noon for a lot of the big box stores like best buy.

Its sad imo - people should be with family, not trying to save 20% on a tv.

The very hearing of Black Friday gives me chills to the bones. It's a crazy frenzy of shoppers who run around like maniacs and like it's the last day on earth. It's crazy!!!

Btw, it's more than just "20% on TV", some savings are just HUGE. It's the best day for savings, and that's why it's a frenzy. Many don't even sleep the night before, but wait for "Black Friday". That's why it's called "Black", which I think is a racist terminology.

Anything that has a bad or dark image is associated with "black", such as blackmail. Maybe it has nothing to do with the color of the skin but the darkness of the night.

Btw, I was kind of kidding.
