Hey, my company just got hit by the blackouts an hour ago, Just had the power restored, but we were out for an hour and a half, and thats not good considering that this is a NOC center with other companies co-lo's and servers in the back. Good thing we have a backup generator for the co-lo's so it wasn't all that bad. Just a little downtime for some of the servers and our phones.

I think I'd rather have earthquakes than snow and tornados, but thats me. Earhtquakes aren't that common, but if it was ever like 1989, it was pretty crazy.

I got to go home early today... just that's one bonus of being at one of the largest power eaters of Marin County.

Fortunately tho it seems PG&E knows when they'll be happenning since they postponed ours for 2 hours and were going to give us a warning before it went out.

Yea, you punks in California DESERVE something bad for being able to crooze around topless, while we here in the midwest, have put our S2000's in lockdown storage in the 'concrete bunker' as DBW calles it.

It's called JUSTICE!

Diddo...No reason to go home yet. And besides, gas gets to be fairly cheap these days in CA comparing to those mid Western states, so I just cruise around topless
