Okay, to help with the $$$ for my monthly S2K payment, I agreed with the wife to give up premium channels & cranked the America's 150 back to America's 100 on the Dish Network. That gave us $40 extra per month towards the car payment. Little did I know at the time that I'd also given up SpeedVision (yes, it has a new name...but *I* like the old one...nah! ).

Well, bless the Maker, but the Dish Network has seen fit to offer Channel 150 into the America's 100 package. Happy, happy, joy, joy!!! Ooooooh....I'm feasting again on auto reviews, european racing, motorcycles, hell,...I even love the vintage commercials! . Tis happy days indeed!!!

 

Better to have had it then to never of had it at all. I wasn't aware of this channel till about 2 years ago when I saw it at my friends house. I couldn't get enough. I never knew such a channel existed! But my cable company does not have it on their line up. So stop your whimpering!!!

 

Who said I was "whimpering?" ...besides you? I'm very pleased with this turn of events. Sorry your cable company doesn't offer it for you tho'

 

I had cut my programming back a few months ago, too. I was doing a happy dance last week when I noticed that Speedvision was back on my channel guide.
