Blingin Garbage Men
Japanese trash is very interesting, because they sort it. There's burnables, non-burnables, plastics, papers, and electronics. Each gets a seperate pile and even a seperate dumptruck to get it. This is heresay tho, from my friend Machiko (who lives in Nagasaki. Canadian born and raised but Japanese family). We need Tokyo_James to tell us the gospel ^__^
I*DO* know that if you ever need a good TV in Japan, all you have to do is get out before 7 am and wander the residential areas, because in Japan, year old technology is ANCIENT. So people will throw out 1 year old TV's, VCR's, DVD players, etc in favor of the new model. So their TVs will be on the sidewalk awaiting the garbagemen. Free TV ^__^
