Default Blocking people from e-mails and phone.

I am using hotmail and I know how to block people from e-mailing you, but I want to make sure that they know that they were blocked or at least that I did not receive their e-mail. Like a message saying: Your e-mail could not be delivered, or something similar.
I want to do the same for the phone so they can get a similar message when they send me a text message. Using at&t
Is this possible?

Thanks

Your phone should have a "Call Barring" option

For email: Setup Outlook using the Hotmail's POP3 settings. Then, create a rule for each email address you wish to "block" that replies with a generic "Your email was not received because the recipient did not wish to receive it". Create a separate rule that will file the emails in the deleted items folder.

I think you'll need to create an email template first, then have Outlook use the template when replying to the messages.

Phone may be able to block incoming calls from ringing, but it will require a smartphone with an app to reply with a text message. So if you have an Android phone, iPhone, or Palm WebOS/Blackberry device (maybe), you are in luck.
