The time has come for me to give in and buy a bluetooth headset for those rare times when I need to talk hands free. I need advice, good, bad, and ugly. I would like to spend less than $100 and I would prefer something small without a big boom mic on the side of my head. I'm leaning towards the Jabra type with the speaker that fits more in the ear than one that's going to be flopping around over my ear. Does anyone have experience with the small headsets? Do they work well or am I just kidding myself?
What are you using and how do you rate it?

i tired 2 diff. motorola ones - both hurt my ear.
i no longer use one since my car is wired for bluetooth.
heard good things about jabra....you gotta clean the wax out of your ears more often if you use a jabra though.

I had a wired Jabra with an old phone and liked it ok. Wax isn't often a problem since I'm in the habit of cleaning my ears daily.

[QUOTE=CBR2200,Jan 22 2007, 12:53 PM]They all suck.
Amazon is your friend. They are cheap and brand new.
I've had a moto HS810, HS820, and HS850.
All were decent, light weight, good batt life and can hear decently.
I've also had a few Jabra's Since Jabra's are IN EAR as opposed to over the eat, you can definitely hear better with the Jabra. But the bulkiness and the shape make it difficult to store easily. The flip style of the moto makes it nice to store and turn on and off with ease.

HEY LOOK AT ME.... I HAVE MADE IT IN LIFE.......I BOUGHT A BLUETOOTH AND I WILL SCREAM INTO EVERYTIME I THINK SOMEONE IS LOOKING MY WAY. THEY WILL THINK I AM TALKING TO THEM BUT I AM FAR TOO COOL FOR THAT.
I WILL WEAR IT WHEN I LIFT WEIGHTS, WHEN I AM CHECKING OUT AT HOME DEPOT AND AT SCHOOL FUNCTIONS SO EVERYONE KNOWS I AM LIVING THE "AMERICAN DREAM".
ahaha.. just ****ing with ya old man...... I am sure you will look great with a bluetooth on you ear..
