On Board Marine One
This Sunday on the National Geographic Channel will be the premier of "On Board Marine One" a documentary about HMX-1.
Im stationed with HMX-1, and just wanted to put the word out. Thought some of you might find it interesting.

Air Force One is any aircraft with president inside operated by the Air Force. Marine One is any aircraft with the president operated by the Marines. It just so happens that the Marines operate the pres. helicopters.
If you watch the show they will explain most of the questions you have I'm sure.
Search on youtube "On board with marine one" and watch the preview.It shows the birds flying around NYC and our CO talking a bit.
