I like him and all, but he was out of my generation I think. I'm 18. I hear him from time to time in the news. Know what he does, but never saw his shows or listened to the radio.

Growing up during the '60s and seeing his shows from Vietnam really made an impact on me what a great American he was.

Damn, today I found out he lived less than a mile from me! A bunch of the streets were blocked off, news vans and choppers were everywhere!

Talk about a hero, this guy went overseas and put on a show at the age of 90. That's 90 years old. Most people don't even live that long, and he was still wanting to entertain.

He was truely a fan of our military, and being an Air Force veteran, I have the upmost respect for him, but unfortunately, never got to meet him.

THANKS BOB FOR EVERYTHING YOU DID FOR OUR COUNTRY, YOU WILL BE MISSED!!!
