Bodybuilding question
Here are the protein shakes that I've been drinking:

It's got 40 grams of protein. Should I be drinking something else? I've tried a bunch of other ones, but this one tasted the best.

You're paying 3x the money for the premade drinks. I pay about $35 for 5 pounds of optimum nutrition whey. 5 lbs = 71 servings, 5.15 lb = 77 servings. Each scoop has 24g protein so 71/2 = About 35 servings, and you're paying about $32 for 12 pre made drinks.
i started in july and here are my results.
I started lifting 30 lb on each side with only reaching 6 or 7 reps before getting tired. i weighed 163lb before and now i weigh 181lb with lifting 55 lb on each side with max reps being 8-9.
i know my routine might sound crazy but im real lazy. lol. for breakfast i usually eat some pretzels. Then before working out i drink 2 scoops jack3d. i go workout for 1 hour then afterwards drink a protein shake. i basically eat anything for lunch and dinner that doesnt have a lot of fat. For example, burgers, friends, fast food, etc. usually since im full from the shake a microwavable pot pie is good for lunch. now i work out 3 times a week but lately ive been working out 5 days a week. everyday i include running 1.5 miles into my workout.
how did i find out results?
When i took my USAF pt test i ran 1.5 miles in 12:54 min and did 43 sit ups. did one last week and i ran 1.5 mi in 11:14 and did 60 sit ups.
also give yourself a cheat day. where you can eat WHATEVER you want. that way during the week you dont get discouraged.

i usually weigh about 185 on monday morning and by friday morning i drop to about 178. damn fatty food on weekends.
optimum whey proteins are pretty good. taste good, mix well and easily. check out amazon usually you can pick up 5 pound jugs for less than $40 shipped.

its like 1300 calories and you take it 3 times a day
you wont get fat trust me just bigger, and its freaking delicious
i take creatine work out then a shake,
people say its steriods but its legal lolol
but you have to take the creatine before you work out and then the proteinshake,
if you take both your body will reject one, so take one and give it a good 30min-1 hour
i went from 130 to 160 in like a month all muscle haha and benched 215
but i worked out like twice a day.
(and you need to eat SOMETHING ever two hours cause your body needs consent energy and muscle is easier than fat for the body to break down and make energy)

^ I second that, I do 20pullups/40 push ups/50sit ups/ run about 1/2 mile every damn morning and I can NOT see any muscle on me.
And Yes my diet is appropriate, low carb intake high protein - basically I am knowledgeable and watch what I eat.
Been doing this routine for 5 month and I still look the same as before.
