Just saw it on the news. Now this is cool. 250 person capacity and flies just under the speed of sound. Very sweet indeed.

 

I don't see a market for this plane unless it is far more cost efficient than current designs.

The 747-400 already carries 500+ passengers at mach .85 and it's a proven airframe.

Probably just a PR stunt to try and get everyone off their backs concerning the recent Boeing HQ move.
