Unhappy Bosley hair restoration.

Sorry for starting another thread about this subject, but they are completely two different products/treatments.

Has anyone here had a personal experience with Bosley hair transplant, or know someone who's had one? What are the results and opinions? TIA!

hair restoration alone do not work. even if the hair that was transplanted from the back of the head is genetically "immuned" from fall off till way later in your life, the hair behind the transplanted hair will contine to recede. as a result, you will develop a gap between the transplanted hair and your natural receding hairline that will become wider and wider as time goes by. i guess the only way to prevent the rest of your hair from naturally receding is if you take propecia or something similar to it for the rest of your life. i don't know if you've ever noticed, but there are some men out there who have undergone hair transplant earlier in their life and today they have a strip of hair up front, and the whole top of their head is bald.

things have been advancing (no pun intended) in this area of medicine very fast over the past 5-7 years. Nothing out there works 100% yet, but give it a couple more years and you may be surprised.

eh, just shave it and don't worry about it. Pray your head isn't oddly-shaped

I hope so too. I've read some horrible stories about hair transplant; the pains, the costs, the results, etc. If in 5 years and science will have advanced enough to find a 100% effective treatment, I'll be a happy man.
