Default The Boys Are Back!

For those who haven't heard them before the absolute funniest guys on radio will finally return to the airwaves! They were thrown off the air 2 years ago for what was admiditly a stupid and tasteless stunt. May be a bit much for some people's tastes but balls out funny News conference at noon today to announce it. Anyone with experience on XM radio or how to get a good deal on a set up?

Here's the press release:

TALK RADIO STARS OPIE AND ANTHONY TO JOIN XM SATELLITE RADIO

"O & A" to hold press conference today at 12:00 noon ET at Hard Rock Caf

It's official, XM it is. Wish I could get out there myself. If you go, post a report on what goes down. On the air in October, I can't wait!

(Gee--more Howard Stern copycats?)

...you gotta be kidding. Stern was cool in like 1985, his time has come and gone. I used to be a big fan back when he was funny. O&A are cutting edge, crazy funny, and connected to some of the best comedians working today. Stern was so worried about O&A that he cried to the top brass at Infinity and had a gag order placed on them. Howard's name was not allowed to be used on the air. It's also rumored that he was suing Imus because he made fun of Howie's girlfriend! What a wuss!

Howard's show now consists of him fawning over Scores girls and complaining about stuff...not that funny. Of course that's in my humble opinion.

I don't know abt that. Stern is more popular now then he ever has been. I am a big fan of his. He keeps evolving and his show gets better by the year. I actually like his political rants now, he's talking a more intellectual slant...thats a good thing!

As for O&A....Ah uhhh....Poooooosaaaaaaa. I am a big fan of their's also. Glad to see they are back. Sucks that they are on XM though...won't be able to listen to them at work like I used to when they were on WNEW....

At least one good thing comes out of them coming back even though it's XM and that's three wonderful letters... W.....O.....W.....
