OP, do us all a favor an lock this thread before it gets completely out of hand
This is Off-Topic, so why does it matter anyways? Also, how can an internet forum thread get out of hand...really, think about it. This entire site has really gone downhill since about the time Steve C. was banned. Yea, he was kind of a jerk, but he was entertaining. Now, anytime a debate starts or disagreement occurs, someone jumps up and asks for the thread to be locked.

It matters because:

A: Its becoming political

B: Its becoming a bunch of people arguing, thus becoming a thread with little to no actual substance.

C: Its a waste of bandwidth

Why we haven't executed the people that admit to 911 is unreal... How many trials do they need to have?

http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20090121/ts_nm/...antanamo_trials

"Hours after taking office, U.S. President Barack Obama ordered military prosecutors in the Guantanamo war crimes tribunals to ask for a 120-day halt in all pending cases...

Another judge was expected to rule as early as Wednesday in the death penalty case against five prisoners accused of plotting the September 11 hijacked plane attacks that killed nearly 3,000 people.

Obama's order to the prosecutors was issued several hours after his swearing-in on Tuesday and if all the continuances are granted it would halt proceedings against 21 prisoners."

A and B are irrelevant because Off-topic, by definition, means "Off a certain topic". Point C: is probably your only real argument, but bandwidth is so cheap now that the point is so weak it barely holds up.

You can thank the ACLU for that. Barack's gift to the far left liberals will be to shut down G-Bay. He suspended everything there to probably set up some type of review committee to determine what happens next.

Theres a politics forum for political threads, so point "A" has plenty of relevance. I guess you wouldnt know that since youre a guest.
So what if there is a politics forums, we are discussing a media personality here, and this is not a political debate. I really find it funny when members on this forum try to play the condescending role for users who are guests and not members. It's merely another example proving what this direction this site has gone and where it continues to go.
