so i tried to run a new game off the MS, after it won't load for a while i shut the PSP down. when i get it back on it's boots half way - gets into the color wave screen and just sits there. tried all the recovery tricks with the 5.00 M33, even re-flashing the 5.00 firmware using the recovery tool. all went well, but still not booting. not sure what i'm doing wrong but really frustrated.

 

yeah, I've heard sometimes if you mess up bricking a psp, the system will get fawked beyond repair....

hope that's not the case
