brothers, help me.
this kinda bullsh#t never happened to me before
so it's kinda upsetting.
i sold some stupid shoes through ebay auction
and after this kid buys it,
(by barely making payment deadline a week after the end of auction...)
i sent the shoes via usps priority.
i even sent him some of the shipping charges back
after realizing that i charged him too much.
that was a month ago.
now after a month
he sends me a e- mail saying he's never gotten the package.
priority mail to the next state won't take a month,
so after a two weeks or so
i just assumed that he got it and
threw all the recipts and whatnot away,
so i can't track it anymore.
i still called usps and filed a lost package report.
when i explain this to the kid
he bluntly says i'm lying.
so what the hell can i do here?
why did he sit around and wait for a month,
when my auction clearly stated it will take 1- 6 days?
how do i know he actually got the shoes,
but trying to steal my money?
it's only $150 or so
and since it was partly my fault,
i was going to refund all the money to him
but after him calling me a liar,
i don't think i want to anymore.
what can i do to solve this
in professional and mature manner?

I'm sure if usps wanted they could somehow get the information for you.
Next time just use delivery confirmation or better yet signature confirmation.
